The Salisbury University Art Club was created in the Fall of 2007 in Professor Preston Poe’s Web Design class. The origional collaborative group of students who started the club had the collective mindset that the art community in the Salisbury area could be enriched and revoultionized. We few group of students than went out on the mission to spread the word, rise excitement, and attract interest.
After the first semester of planning, we were than ready to finally launch the club and start getting active members to attend meetings. In the Fall 2008 semester, the Art Club had it’s first two art shows! With great success we now plan on expanding the club and holding more events.
If you are interested in joining the SU Art Club please contact one of the officers or attend the next meeting. We welcome all students, not just Art majors.
